Old vaper looking for new info on VW setup; please :)

Hello, I am new to VW.
I normally use a REO and rebuild able coils.
but recently got a SMOk alien. Hot it about 3 months ago and I really liked it. It won't turn on 2 months into using it, couldn't believe it. Then got a SMOK H-priv 220w and it crapped out in exactly 1 month. It says atty short and check atty no matter what I do.
I REFUSE TO BUY ANOTHER SMOK
The customer service is terrible, I have been trying for a month to get a hold of them and no response from phone or email after…

Vaporesso Revenger with NRG tank

I have been wanting to try Vaporesso's OMNI chip for a good long while now, and I just found the Revenger kit. Dual battery, OMNI 2.0 chip, a clock, and a really sleek-looking shape. The .96 inch screen displays all the essential information, including the charge left on each individual battery. I always look for that in a <a href="https://vaping.com/vape-mods?utm_source=ECF&utm_medium=Wordlink&utm_campaign=MODS%20-%20Wordlink&utm_term=MODS%20-%20Wordlink&utm_content=SMOK%20-%20Wordlink” rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”>mod anymore because I find it very helpful. I actually found out one of my batteries in a married pair had gone bad because of this feature on a different mod so now I…

Your favorite KIT at the moment and why!

With so many new <a href="https://vaping.com/vape-mods?utm_source=ECF&utm_medium=Wordlink&utm_campaign=MODS%20-%20Wordlink&utm_term=MODS%20-%20Wordlink&utm_content=SMOK%20-%20Wordlink” rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”>mod/tank combos out there right now, I want to hear what your personal favorite is and why. I'm not taking droppers or mechanical <a href="https://vaping.com/vape-mods?utm_source=ECF&utm_medium=Wordlink&utm_campaign=MODS%20-%20Wordlink&utm_term=MODS%20-%20Wordlink&utm_content=SMOK%20-%20Wordlink” rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”>mods, I'm talking KITS that come with a mod and tank, sold together!

I've been going back and forth on a few of them and want to hear opinions, but I don't want to hear what you think I should buy personally, just what's working for you.

Atm I'm using the eVic Primo Mini and the ProCore Aries tank, although I don't care for their coils, so I'm…

Think It Might Be Time to Replace Those Wicks!

Wicking is
one of the most important ways to ensure that you can enjoy a quality vaping
session. Surprisingly, it is often overlooked by even the most experienced
vapers and it can be confusing to determine when it is time to change your
wick. It is important to replace your wicks because it can prolong the life of
your coil and lead to better flavor and cloud production. To understand when
you should change your wicks, you want to first know what wicking is and how it
works within the atomizer and device. The wick is an absorbent material that
carries the <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid
to the coil.
Once the <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid is at the coil, it can be atomized. Therefore, it is important
to have a fresh wick to get the best vape.

Now, how often your wick needs to be changed can depend on a few different
factors:

-Part of it depends on the type of
e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice you are using to vape with. Propylene Glycol (PG) is a thinner type of
solvent, so it will wick quicker. If you vape using a <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice that has a
higher concentration of Vegetable Glycerin (VG), it is going to take longer to
wick because the <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid is thicker and moves slower through the wicking
material.

-The temperature that you vape at
also plays a part in how often you will need to change your wick. The higher
the temperature at which you vape, the faster the coil needs to recharge and be
cleaned.

-An old, saturated wick can leave
sediment on the coil so it is important to stay on top of it and not let the
wick stay past its lifetime.

The first thing you will notice when
it is time to change your wick is that the amount of vapor you are producing
during your vape sessions will start to decrease. The flavor will also start to
decline and if you really delay and leave the wick for too long, the e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice
will start to taste burned. The next thing you will notice is the physical
appearance of the wick will begin to change. If it starts to change color or
take on a burned appearance, then that is a sure sign that you should replace
it with a new one. If you do not change your wick, it will lead to an
unpleasant vaping experience. In addition to tasting bad, vaping with an old
wick is also bad for the coil. The saturated wick can leave a residue on the
coil and if you are not careful, you might have to replace it sooner than you
previously anticipated.

The best thing that you can do to ensure a pleasant vaping experience is to
change your wicks regularly. Remember that the type of e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid you use and the
temperature at which you vape at play a part in how often the wick will need to
be changed. Before you begin each session, look at the wick and browse for
color changes or burns. If you are going to be changing e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquids during a
vaping session, keep in mind how the flavors will mesh. Depending on your
personal preference, you should consider changing the wick to get a cleaner
flavor. Follow these tips and hopefully you will be able to better identify the
best time to change your wicks.

Searching for Provape High Performance End Caps (Procyon)

I know <a href="http://link.e-cigarette-forum.com/provape/” rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”>Provape is long gone, and it looks like parts are gone as well – internet searching has turned up zilch. But I'll take a shot anyway.

I need a Provape High Performance End Cap like they used for the Procyon. Does anyone know if anybody has them for sale? I really love how they improve the performance of my P3 in mini mode, and I need one in silver.

If anybody knows anything, please let me know.
Thank you Guys and Gals!

Ways Your Vape Juice Might Be Affecting Your Vape Tank

There are certain e-cigs that have tanks
made up of plastic poly carbonate material. Some of the e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid flavors that
users put in these tanks, may cause an enzyme reaction that can crack or melt
the vape tank. If the tank is already cracked, it might be a good idea to
purchase a glass tank. There are some flavors such as banana, licorice,
cinnamon, clove, or citrus <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juices that come with a warning that they may harm
or damage plastic tanks.

So, what should a vaper do if their <a href="http:/www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid is affecting
their vape tank to the point of damaging it? No need to panic, assess the
damage and determine how bad the problem is. Just as any part of life proves,
most often we fret and worry over something that just requires a small
adjustment to fix it. The first thing that must be done is determine that the
equipment is properly fitted together and the battery is fully charged. Limit
the number of long drags you take- drags lasting twenty seconds or more, as
this can cause problems to the atomizer and shorten your unit’s life span. When
your vape is not in use make sure you store it in the upright position, and not
in your back pocket where you can forget it is there and sit on it, possibly
causing irreparable damage.

One of the annoying effects e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid can have on a tank is
when it causes the atomizer to leak. It is easy to clean up, but it is still
very annoying and can appear to worsen the longer you allow it to continue,
sort of like the drip, drip, drip, of a dripping water faucet.

Below are 10 tips to
keep your vape from being leaky:

Tip #1: Make sure you fill your tank properly. Try not to get
the e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid up in the mouth piece area as it can cause the tank to leak or
gurgle. Be careful when filling the tank so as not to fill too full.

Tip #2: Make sure all pieces are tight-fitting and not
cross-threaded.

Tip #3: Don’t over-tighten. Over tightening can cause the
O-rings to split and allow e-<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid to leak out.

Tip #4: Always leave the tank in the standing up position.
Even if it is only partially full, letting it lie on its side can allow
“<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice holes” for the <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice to seep through.

Tip #5: Always use correct sized coils.
Tip #6: It is important to check the condition of all O-rings.
Tip #7: Some brands may require special equipment. Do some of
your own research when purchasing your tank and verify you have correct
equipment for its operation.

Tip #8: A common cause of leaks is called flooding. This happens when too
much <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice gets into the coil. To try to prevent this, simply turn up the power!

Tip #9: Add some cotton to fill up the space around the
coils. This will create extra wick material to decrease leaks.

Tip #10: Switching from a lower, PG-based <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice to a Higher, VG-based
<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice should also help decrease or eliminate that leaky tank.

What would be a good mod for the Ego Mega tank?

So, I just bought an ego mega since it looks like a nice, peaceful way into starting the process of learning TC and building, though I also bought some stock coils, as well as some rebuildable, TC ones…. I'm hoping I'll learn as I go. What would be a reasonable <a href="https://vaping.com/vape-mods?utm_source=ECF&utm_medium=Wordlink&utm_campaign=MODS%20-%20Wordlink&utm_term=MODS%20-%20Wordlink&utm_content=SMOK%20-%20Wordlink” rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”>mod to go with that? I want to buy at least one more mod before July 4th to take advantage of sales, and in case something goes wrong with my other mod?

Any suggestions? I'm willing to buy something nice, as long as TC is reliable…
